I don’t want to get all wild with the “male version of Adele claims” here, but just listen to ‘Stare Into the Sun’ by British guy duo Graffiti6. Blue-eyed soul? Check. 60s R&B influenced pop? Yes. Me crying a little every time I hear them on the radio? Well…no.
Graffiti6’s debut LP Colours came out last month. They’re playing SXSW and Sasquatch, and so am I. (Not true).
