Went to a dance party in Big Sur last weekend and this jam was featured prominently. (It came on right after this). The DJ isolated the drum beat in the beginning and let it simmer for a solid minute before dropping in the synth track. And when that happened, everyone realized what song it was and the room collectively lost its goddamm mind. We all got down low, and I did a good deal of impassioned singing with my eyes closed. (“IIIII BLESS the rain!” “Gonna TAKE some time!”).
